I 100% recommend the Shandor Tour. Ever since seeing online videos of Shandor Larenty interacting with George the lion, this trip has been on my bucket list - and I was not disappointed! Shandor is an excellent, knowledgeable and informative guide, He takes time to ensure that the experience is everything you hope it will be - and more. To see him interact with various different animals was both fascinating and endearing. Anyone doing this tour should appreciate that it is reliant on the animals themselves being 'in the mood' to interact and, for the most part, this was the case on my visit. Meeting George was, of course, the highlight and it was absolutely obvious that there was a bond between Shandor and George. Whilst this is one of the more expensive trip options at the park it is WELL WORTH the cost - do it if you get the chance. If travel plans and money permit I woud most definitely do it again. - Kerry Kenton-Clarke
